Casement windows can be constructed in two options – Flush (traditional style) or Stormproof (modern style rebated for extra weather proofing) These windows can be hung on the right or left-hand side or even from the top, opening outwards. Also available is a ‘French’ casement window offering a clear opening without a centre post (mullion), operating similar to a pair of doors.
Casement windows are a very popular choice. Their simple design helps to guarantee the most potential available light is let in, however when opened to the full they do create a potential hazard to passing traffic.
Casement windows can be operated with friction hinges or traditional butt hinges depending on the project requirements, in a wide selection of finishes. Designed with performance and style in mind they will enhance any new build or refurbishment project.
All of our timbers are FSC accredited and sourced from renewable sources, so whether you choose softwood or hardwood, our timber is the best available.
We can now offer a new wood product called Accoya, and as trained and qualified Accoya technicians, we can produce bespoke timber windows with a 50 year guarantee. Accoya is non-toxic and can withstand extreme external environments. It is also easy to treat in a range of finishes.
As our windows are bespoke, we can offer to supply and fit all types of glass including privacy, laminated and toughened.
A window is only completed when complemented by a thorough paint finish and made secure with locks, hinges and handles. Our windows are all offered in various colours and finishes.
